Q: How do I go about buying a Transit Designs piece?

A: There are a few ways of doing this. The simplest is to use the shopping cart and order a piece online using a credit card for payment. I receive the order, contact you to confirm details and start the build process. Another option is to use the contact link and send me a message, I will contact you within a day to make arrangements. I will accept a 50% deposit to cover materials to initiate the order, the balance due on delivery.

Q: How long does it take from placing the order to receiving the finished piece?

A: That depends, some pieces are more complex than others, and generally you should expect the piece to be available 3 weeks from receiving confirmation that the order has been accepted. As I build each piece to order I will keep you informed as to the progress.

Q: What about delivery? How does that work?

A: I can deliver within 300km of Calgary, the fee would be $150.00. Buyers can also collect. I will provide a shipping quote based on the piece you are ordering and your location. Again use the contact link for your enquiry.

Q: Can I have one of the designs customized to match with my existing furniture or decor?

A: YES! Each piece is built to order so you can customize to some extent, for example if you really like the Zenith I dining table but Maple just won’t fit with your current décor, we can choose another wood species to better complement your style. The cost of the piece may need to be adjusted to reflect different material prices and the timeline may be extended as I may need to procure nonstandard materials.

Q: I want a totally custom piece can you build to order?

A: YES! See our bespoke page, we can work with you or your designer/architect to create your future heirloom pieces.
